Dominion West Capital is a private equity real estate investment firm founded in 2009 that consults/advises, acquires, entitles, develops, owns and operates single family residential, multi-family, land and commercial real estate assets. We also specifically focus on placing the firm’s capital in various classes of real estate acting as investor, lender or debt partner to other real estate investors. We consistently produce attractive risk-adjusted returns. Dominion West combines in-house expertise and third-party professionals in order to streamline the company's operations and reduce unnecessary overhead.

Hard Money Lender
Dominion West Financial’s private/hard money loan programs are designed for real estate investors focused on single-family residential properties in Southern California. We are a proven private/hard money source with multiple years of deal experience. Our streamlined process allows our borrowers to close their purchases in as quick as a few days, with typical transaction times averaging less than one week. We work with investors buying REOs, short sales, trustee sale refinances and traditional MLS or private party transactions. All private/hard money loans are for investment/business purpose transactions on non-owner occupied properties. We do not lend on owner-occupied-properties.
Dominion West’s managing partners have specific experience in investment syndication, joint ventures, capital raising, re-positioning distressed assets, development, acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, analytics and management related to real estate assets.
In recent years Michael Reidy and Mitchell Compton II have acquired, sold and held 185,000 square feet of office and retail, have re-positioned and disposed of 80 multi-family units, flipped scores of single family residences and condos across the western United States and have funded millions of dollars of private/hard money transactions to other investors without outside capital.
Mitchell and Michael were both winners of San Diego Metro Magazine's 40 Under 40 Awards for 2012.
Michael Reidy has been in the real estate and private equity business since 2005. He has also owned and operated various award-winning hospitality venues. Reidy is an avid world traveler and has visited over 50 countries. He received his bachelors degree from Hampden-Sydney College. He has dedicated many years of support to Operation Smile, a nonprofit children's charity.
Mitchell Compton II
Mitchell Compton a graduate of University of Southern California has over 19 years of experience in the real estate investments sector. Mitchell has been recognized as a Platinum Club Member for his fundraising accomplishments for the Movember Foundation benefiting men’s health charities. Mitchell is an avid surfer, runner, triathlon competitor and Boston Marathon finisher. He resides in San Diego with his wife and three children.
